We are looking for someone who is a gun at sales who wants to use their skills to help promote ethical businesses and create partnerships with like minded businesses.

Pip Magazine is a national permaculture magazine focusing on sharing ideas, information and inspiration around sustainable living practices. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced advertising sales and partnerships person to join our vibrant team.

The purpose of this role is to find new clients and manage existing clients that are aligned with our values and those of our readers. You will sell them tailored print and digital advertising solutions across all our channels; print, web, EDMs and podcasts. You will also be working on creating ongoing partnerships with key clients and building long-term relationships

You will be working across the whole sales cycle, from prospecting to closing and ongoing account/relationship management.
You will be managing a CRM and performing other minor admin related duties that will make up part of the job to ensure efficient and effective work processes.

You will have excellent communication and demonstrated B2B sales experience. If you’re passionate about providing great customer solutions and have a track record of sales success, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop advertising sales relationships with prospective advertising accounts.
  • Sell advertising on websites, EDMs, podcasts and print magazines, along with sponsorships and other integrated marketing programs.
  • Meet or exceed advertising revenue quotas and targets.
  • Communicate effectively with clients in a variety of settings, including on the telephone, through electronic communication and in-person.
  • Potentially perform in-person presentations at client locations, industry events and trade shows.
  • Provide weekly sales reports and analysis for each assigned project.
  • Manage our independent magazine stockists, including reaching out and finding new stockists.
  • Create and manage partnerships with related groups and businesses.
  • Keep track of sales and clients in our CRM.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous B2B sales experience.
  • Knowledge of the sustainability sector and appropriate businesses.
  • Proven track record of meeting KPIs and targets.
  • Experience in CRM software, Xero and EDM software.
  • Proficient across Microsoft Office & Google suite as well as CRM’s and advertising booking portals.
  • A positive mindset and attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and be self motivated and be super reliable.
  • Must be highly organised and able to keep track of tasks and projects through to their completion.

Location: There is the possibility to work remotely for the right applicant. So location is flexible, Preference will be given to Melbourne or Far South Coast NSW. The Pip office is in Pambula NSW.  

Position: 15-20 hours a week.
