Buckwheat Pancakes Recipe

This gluten-free buckwheat pancakes recipe is low in sugar and gluten but high in taste. It’s perfect for kids as well as the whole family.

It seems more and more people are experiencing issues with gluten, which is why gluten-free recipes are on the rise.

Even if you’d like to simply take a break from wheat, turning to alternative flours can open up a whole new world of recipes to you.

As for these buckwheat flour pancakes, when it comes to the toppings we encourage you to get creative, whether choosing natural sweeteners (like honey) or maple syrup, or keeping them even healthier by topping the pancakes with plain fruit. Enjoy!

Buckwheat Pancakes Recipe

(Gluten and refined sugar free)

Ingredients:

  • 25g melted butter
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 cup buckwheat flour
  • ¼ tsp bicarb soda
  • 1 cup milk

Method:

Whisk all ingredients together, and cook in small batches in a pan over medium heat. Stack them to the ceiling. Add toppings of your choice.
